Welcome to our website for Social Work Leaders in Healthcare of Metro St. Louis.  We are excited to bring your attention to a few features within our site.  We have a rich history in the "About Us" tab that will demonstrate the longstanding effort to unite social workers under this common cause.  Also of interest is a description of our services and an excerpt from our bylaws to get a true sense of our mission and purposes.  These are the functions that help guide us as a non-profit and help guide the board in its future endeavors on behalf of our members.  If you are interested in membership, you will be amazed at the extensive value our organization offers you.  With an approved application, you will receive the benefits of at least 4 hours of continuing education (CEU's), incredible networking, and exchange of ideas that help you maintain a pulse on the social work field.  Membership dues are very reasonable and among the most affordable professional dues available in our area.  Please peruse our photo gallery and contact us if you have questions at any point.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Purposes:

• To promote educational programs to strengthen and develop social work leadership.

• To strengthen relationships with health care organizations and professional social work organizations in relation to social work in health care.

• To provide a forum for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of material relative to social work leadership.

• To promote standards and ethics for the delivery of social work in health care.

• To strengthen field education for social workers in education.
